1. Monitor and proactively reduce your refrigerator’s energy use. AI Energy mode lets you easily check your power consumption.
With AI Energy mode, refrigerator learns usage patterns, creating AI algorithm which optimises compressor speed and defrost cycle to reduce energy usage by up to 15%.
In addition, if you want to save more energy, you can save an additional 15% by adjusting the set temperature of the refrigerator.
If your estimated electricity consumption exceeds your preset target, AI Energy mode will notify you and ask whether to activate saving mode.
- Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.
- Available for specific models from December 2022 through wifi update. Test results derived from comparing factory setting temperature with AI Energy mode to without AI Energy mode. Results may vary depending on the usage condition and pattern.
- Refrigerator will set the temperature to Fridge 5℃, Freezer -16℃ and it may affect the preservation period of food.
- SmartThings will display a notification before activating saving algorithm in both 'Maximum mode' and 'Custom mode

AI Energy Mode can be applied when the selected washing temperature is 20 ~ 40 ℃. Up to 70% saving based on internal testing on the WW11BB944AGB model in normal usage conditions. Results : Power consumption without AI Energy Mode = 0.539 KWh. Power consumption with AI Energy Mode = 0.145 KWh. Results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.
